Amaretto Cakes

  Hace ya muchos años que comencé a hacer lo que hoy es una de las cosas que más me apasiona.. mi primer trabajo fue una experiencia que cambiaría mi vida por completo, porque descubrí que podía hacer cosas que ni siquiera yo sabía que podía hacer.

  Recuerdo con claridad que fue una torta para celebrar el cumpleaños de un amigo, que todos los años hacía una fiesta de un tema particular, ese año (2004) sería de bebés y horneé dos tortas circulares las cubrí con un fondant (que yo sola había aprendido a hacer, siguiendo las instrucciones de una receta que vi en internet), y las decoré de tal forma, que una de las tortas era la cabeza del bebé y la otra su cuerpo incluyendo su pañal.. lamento no tener una foto de ese primer trabajo del que hoy les hablo.

  De ahí en adelante, me convertí en la que hacía las tortas para cualquier celebración. Hice cursos y aprendí nuevas técnicas pero nunca fui valiente como para estudiar a fondo y de manera profesional la pastelería, lo veía como un hobby y me gradué en Marketing en la universidad, por eso siento que soy Licenciada en Marketing de profesión y Repostera por vocación.

  Soy madre, esposa, hija, hermana, tía, prima, cuñada, amiga y una venezolana en otra tierra, que decidió hacer de su pasión una manera de obtener ganancias tanto económicas como personales.

  Lo de ser blogera fue algo que nació hace muy poco tiempo, con ayuda de mi hermana (que no es blogera pero sabe más de estas cosas que yo), cuando entendí que podía hacerlo y que quizás ayudaría a otros a realizar postres sin muchas complicaciones y con ingredientes fáciles de conseguir y quién sabe, hasta puedo estar ayudando a alguien que algún día, como yo, decida vivir de esto.

  Many years ago I started doing what today is one of the things that I love the most ... my first job was an experience that would change my life completely, because I discovered that I could do things that even I did not know I could do.

  I remember clearly that it was a cake to celebrate the birthday of a friend, who made a party of a particular theme every year, that year (2004) it would be of babies and I baked two circular cakes I covered them with a fondant (that I had only learned to do, following the instructions of a recipe I saw on the internet), and decorated them in such a way that one of the cakes was the head of the baby and the other his body including his diaper .. I regret not having a picture of that first job I'm talking about today.

  From then on I became the one who made the cakes for any celebration. I took courses and learned new techniques but I was never brave enough to study the pastry in a professional way, I saw it as a hobby and I graduated in Marketing at the university, so I feel I have a degree in Marketing by profession and pastry by vocation .

  I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, sister in law, friend and a Venezuelan in another land, who decided to make her passion a way to obtain both economic and personal gains.

  Being a blogger was something that was born a very short time ago, with the help of my sister (who is not a blogger but knows more about these things than me), when I understood that I could do it and that maybe it would help others to make desserts without many complications and with easy-to-get ingredients and who knows, I may even be helping someone who one day, like me, decides to live on this.
